Iris Seaman is a Masters student studying Bayesian formulations for theory of mind. Born in south Texas, she spent half of her childhood in Mexico, and has now been married for four years. She enjoys watching movies, reading fiction, exercising, and eating delicious food. She plays the violin and flute, paints and sketches in her free time. Her favorite thing to do is laugh. For fun, she likes hiking, spending time with friends, and taking long walks on nice warm sunny days.
Iris is currently the President of BYU’s Women in Technology (WIT) club and the Graduate Representative of BYU’s Women in Computer Science club. She volunteers as programming and math tutor, participates in local annual food drives, and volunteers as a church teacher for young women.
