Robert Pottorff is a Masters Student at Brigham Young University, accepted for graduate school to start in 2017. No stranger to innovation or research, he was a member of the Crocker Fellowship for Innovation – a prestigious research-based entrepreneurship fellowship that puts students from across the university together to tackle problems and find solutions. His work with Dr. David Wingate in the Perception, Control, and Cognition Lab spans reinforcement learning and knowledge representations, targeting agents that can reason about and act optimally in the world. His passion is in developing agents that can make real impact in the world.
